Hub Assistant
As a recent Architecture graduate, with a passion for design and community engagement Lucia assists in the running of TownSq Islington and facilitation of events which aim to support both our members and the local community.
Lucia’s interests include architecture, heritage and community engagement as shown in her previous work at architectural practices and at Historic England. Here she worked to improve the organisations’ relationship with local authorities across southeast England by involving their communities into the process of assessing local heritage assets.
During her time at University, she was events coordinator for the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Society. She facilitated unifying experiences for students and faculty by spreading awareness of the importance of EDI through various events including film nights and a book club.
She continues bringing people together through the creation of socially responsible events in her role as a Community Assistant here at Town Square.
