She was selected to participate in two incubator programs through her sustainably-led business, The Barefoot Planter and took part in UBS's pitch competition for C-suite and senior leaders as part of Hatch Enterprise's alumni founders.
During her venture capital days at US-based firm, Overlooked Ventures, Chauntelle led community, marketing, and fundraising initiatives that contributed to 25% of a $50MM fund goal from 26 limited partner commitments (first institutional investment from Bank of America).
During her time at TikTok, she developed organic marketing and brand partnership campaigns, notably co-programming the inspiring 2020 Black History Month UK hashtag challenge #MyRoots.
Raised on the volcanic Caribbean island of Montserrat, Chauntelle is committed to raising awareness about climate change, knowing that islands like hers will be among the first affected. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, writing, gardening, slow travelling, and indulging in culinary delights—especially when someone else cooks!
