We will answer this question with Brian Channer, CEO of The Black Policy Institute and Cllr Valerie Bossman-Quarshie, Community Engagement & Liaison Director for The Black Policy Institute, and Nadjah Osman, Chair of the Black Policy Institute Young Advisory Group, looking at why is it important for women to have leadership aspirations, and the relevance and importance of male allyship.

We will also discover the amazing job that The Black Policy Institute is doing in regards to policy making, youth empowerment and advocacy.

Meet the speakers:

Brian Channer, CEO of The Black Policy Institute, is an Oxford University Alumni. Ex-parliamentary staffer. For more than 20 years he has collaborated with both public and private organisation, developing and implementing programmes on well-being, challenging discrimination, creative thinking, leadership, networking and job-seeking skills.

Valerie Bossman-Quarshie, educator with over 20 years of experience with children and young adults, local ward Islington Councillor and Community Engagement & Liaison Director for The Black Policy Institute.

Nadjah Osman is currently a Graduate Analyst at Accenture and the Joint International Chair of the Young People’s Advisory Board for The Black Policy Institute. She is a Politics and International Relations Graduate from Queen Mary University of London with a Master’s in Conflict, Security and Development at King’s College London.
